Fruits are an important source of Vitamins, Minerals and Carbohydrates like Fiber and Sugar. They are low in calories and are naturally sweet. They are a good source of Nutrients and Anti-oxidants. Eating fruits not only gives healthy nutrition but also gives you glowing skin. Fruits have essential minerals which help to enhance beauty in the natural form. We have been hearing enough about the benefits of fruits for our health and skin. Hence, in this post, I have listed some of the fruits you should consume to achieve the best version of your skin.

1.Mango

The King of Fruits has many benefits, it is a good source of Vitamins A, C, E and K. It rejuvenates the skin and has anti-inflammatory properties which help to prevent the skin from any kind of DNA damage. Being a rich source of fiber and dietary sugar, this fruit is beneficial in keeping away tummy troubles. Mangoes also help to delay the visible signs of skin ageing. It has a softening effect on hair and skin. It tightens the pores and strengthens the hair roots.

•If you have dry skin, mix some mashed mangoes with yogurt and honey and apply it to your face. Keep it for about 15 minutes, then wash it off with lukewarm water.

•If you have an oily or mix skin, mix some lemon juice and rose water into mango pulp and apply it to your skin. Keep it for about 10 minutes and rinse it off.

2.Watermelon

Watermelon, a juicy fruit which  contains almost 92 percent of water, is a windfall for the skin in summer days. It helps to provide glowing skin. As it contains most of the water in it, this fruit is ideal for eliminating harmful toxins from the skin and also keep the digestive system on tracks. This fruit contains Vitamins A, B1, B6, C and ample amount of anti-oxidants which prevent skin damage.

•Drink watermelon juice on a regular basis. Alternatively, eat watermelons as a mid-morning snack.

•Apply some watermelon pulp on your face for 10 minutes to get soft and lustrous skin.

3.Papaya

Papaya is one fruit which you should include in your diet to get perfect and clear skin. It is rich in various vitamins such as A, B, C and minerals such as copper, potassium. It has anti-fungal, antiviral and antibacterial properties which prevent skin infection and skin ulcers. Papaya contains enzymes which help to remove dead skin cells and provides a brighter skin. It also lightens the skin colour if used regularly.

•Take a small piece of papaya and mash it nicely. Apply it to your face and rinse it off after 10-15 minutes.

•To get rid of dusty and flaky skin, apply some pulpy papaya mixed with few drops of almond oil to your face.

4.Banana

One of the common fruits which are available throughout the year is Banana. Bananas are the richest source of potassium and contain vitamins like B6 and C. It is a very useful source of remedy for both hair and face. Its pack is beneficial for dry hair and also recovers the damage caused to the hair by repeated colouring or from any other chemical treatment. The potassium content in bananas helps to soften both the hair and the skin. This fruit has ample healing properties, even the peels of this fruit help to get rid of acne scars. It has antioxidant properties because of which, it acts as a moisturizer for the skin.

•Take a mashed banana and apply it all over your face then rinse it off after 10 minutes to get an instant glow on the face.

•For dry and frizzy hair, mash one banana into which mix 1 tbsp of honey and apply to your hair from the scalp to the bottom. Keep it for 30 minutes, then shampoo your hair with mild water.

5.Orange

Oranges the juicy, pulpy fruit has a vibrant colour and intoxicating smell. They are rich in vitamin C and also contains antioxidants. Oranges help to prevent oxidative damage, photodamage, DNA damage, reduce inflammation and many more. Use of oranges in daily life can provide you with glowing skin. 
• For oily skin, mix 3 tbsp of orange juice, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 2 tbsp of gram flour, and ½ tsp of turmeric. Apply it as a pack.
•For dry skin, mix 3 tbsp of orange juice, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 1 tsp of milk, ½ tsp of turmeric, and 1 tsp of honey and apply on your skin. Rinse it off after a few minutes.

One should drink orange juice and eat an orange every day to get brighter skin.
