A Tortilla wrap is a dish made up of thin flatbread rolled with different types of fillings. There are many varieties of this wrap such as corn tortilla, wheat tortilla, and flour tortilla. It's easy to prepare. The most simple recipe contains only water, flour, and the fillings of your choice. I'm writing about the new way of making this wrap that recently got in trend by cutting the tortilla in a quarter half and then filling each quarter with different items. So check out this recipe below.

RECIPE:-
INGREDIENTS:-
FOR THE WRAP:-
2 CUPS OF ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
2 Tbsp OF CURD
WATER
SALT AS PER TASTE
REFINED OIL
2 Tbsp OF CURD
WATER
SALT AS PER TASTE
REFINED OIL
FOR ALOO TIKKI:-
2 MEDIUM SIZED BOIL POTATOES
1/2 Tsp BLACK PEPPER1 Tsp CHAAT MASALA
1/2 Tsp RED CHILLI POWDER
1/2 Tsp TURMERIC POWDER
1 Tsp GARLIC PASTE
1/2 Tsp GARAM MASALA
CORIANDER LEAVES
FOR OTHER FILLINGS:-
2-3 Tbsp MAYONNAISE2 Tbsp TOMATO KETCHUP
LETTUCE/CABBAGE
ONIONS SLICES
TOMATO SLICES
CHEESE SLICES/ GRATED CHEESE
METHOD:-
To make the wrap take 2 cups of all-purpose flour in a bowl into which add the given amount of curd, pinch of salt, and oil then gradually add water to make a soft dough. Apply some oil then cover it with a cloth then leave it for 10 minutes.
In the meantime prepare the Aloo Tikki. Take two medium-sized boil potatoes and mash them. Then add all the spices mentioned above and give it a good mix. In the next step add some bread crumbs to bind the mixture. Divide the mixture into 4 medium-sized balls then keep it aside.
After 10 minutes take the dough and knead it so that it becomes smooth. Now divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll it thin into the size of a wrap then half cook the wraps on a pan at a medium flame. Then make the aloo tikkis, add little oil into the pan and then shallow fry the 4 tikkis at a medium flame until it turns golden from both the side. You can also deep fry the tikkis if you want. Now take 3 tbsp of mayonnaise in a bowl and then add the 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup and mix it well.
Now the final step is to assemble everything. Take a wrap and cut it into quarter half. Now in the first quarter spread the mayonnaise and tomato mixture, in the second quarter put the aloo Tikki;, cheese slices, or processed cheese in the third and put some lettuce, tomato, and onions slices on the fourth. Now wrap it from the side of mayonnaise. Do the same with the other 3 wraps and then grill it in a sandwich maker with some butter or you can also grill it in a pan.
This will give you four delicious tortilla wraps. This recipe of tortilla wrap is very easy and can be prepared in a very short time. So guys just give this recipe a try and enjoy having this wrap anytime you want.
