INDIA'S BIGGEST PARK

Ecopark is the biggest urban park in India so far. It is located in New Town, Rajarhat, Kolkata. The park covers a very large part of the land and is surrounded by a waterbody with an island in the middle. The park has been divided into three broad parts as ecological zones like wetlands, grassland, and urban forest; theme gardens; and urban recreation space.
There is a total of 4 gates to enter the ecopark.
Each gate is at a distance of somewhat 1 km.
The Ecopark park has replicas of all seven wonders of the world spread across the entire area of the park. There are several activities available for visitors of every age, some of which include water zorbing, kayaking, paddle boating, archery, duo cycling, etc. Visitors can choose activities depending on their interests or requirements. The name of the island situated in the center of the huge lake of ecopark is Sabuj Sathi. On this sabuj island, a glasshouse has been built through which 360-degree view of the ecopark looks extensive. Apart from that, there are well-furnished cottages along with one cafeteria named Cafe Ekante.
Last week I went to the ecopark with my friends. We went through the local city bus which dropped us at chinar park, from there we took an auto that took us to ecopark gate no 3. The entry fees were 35  per head and we were 7 in number. We entered through gate no 3. Gate no 3 consists of different gardens such as the tea garden, heliconia garden, butterfly garden, mask garden, tropical rain forest, bamboo forest, etc. We reached there at 4.30, as we were already late to explore the entire ecopark so we did only a few activities.

First, we went for speed boating. The charges for speed boating were 50/- per person for 1 round of the lake and the capacity of the boat was a maximum of 25 people. There were also other water activities such as water zorbing, kayaking, paddle boating, etc. Water zorbing is really fun when two or more people go together. Adventure lovers can do kayaking. Paddle boating is very common as most of us had definitely done it with our parents in childhood. We went for speed boating where we all can have fun together. After boating, we were walking towards the other activities exploring the greenery. There was a toy train too for which the charges were 150/- per person for a single round. There were quite a few food stalls placed around the courtyard with a pavilion and the food is pretty affordable too.

Then we went ice skating. It was near gate no 1. The charge for ice skating was 200/- per person for 30 minutes, we were ready to do ice skating, but the coordinator told us that there was no ice and its just a synthetic floor on which we will be skating so we dropped the idea of doing it. The last activity we did was duo cycling for which the charges were 150/- each cycle. We bought 4 cycles for 7 of us. It was already late and we were hungry so went to Mc Donalds from there. It was a fun day.
EcoPark is the best place for spending time with family or friends. It is a great place for picnics. It is better to visit EcoPark on weekdays because it is extremely crowded on weekends due to which you will not be able to explore the entire park or do any activities. The park remains closed on Mondays so you can visit from Tuesdays to Sundays. Moreover, it's a great place for outing and relaxing your mind from the hectic schedule of work. So surely do visit EcoPark with your friends or family.

THANKYOU!
